Welcome to 28 Oak Avenue, a charming, updated and spacious home located less than one block from a lifeguarded beach.
OVERVIEW: Nestled in the Pines of North Rehoboth, this upscale home offers seven generous bedrooms on two levels, a gorgeous open floor plan perfect for entertaining, a private backyard deck, and a spacious front screened-in porch. Three separate sitting areas inside the home allow multiple seating and relaxing options. Perfect for a multi-generational family beach vacation! The first floor features a front sitting room that leads into the open dining room, kitchen, and great room areas. The kitchen marries the space between the dining room and the great room with miles of countertops, cabinetry, and a breakfast bar with additional seating options. The great room boasts soaring ceilings, tons of natural light, and comfortable seating. The first floor also provides four bedrooms (one primary bedroom with en suite) and an additional one full and one half bathroom. The second level offers the remaining bedrooms (one primary with en suite) and a full hall bathroom.
LOCATION: Awesome Location! In town and ocean block but tucked back in The Pines to avoid the downtown noise. Oak Avenue is a short walk to our famous Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, where you will find plenty of activities such as arcades, restaurants, shopping, and amusement rides! In the evening, many vacationers like to stroll the boardwalk and enjoy the bandstand that offers nightly entertainment. A perfect choice for a great vacation! It is an easy walk to the community park where the Farmer's Market occurs every Tuesday at 11 am. Less than two miles you will find the first of three sets of tax-free Tanger Outlets. Easy access to Gordons Pond State Park or bring your bikes for an adventurous bike ride along Junction & Breakwater Trail.
PARKING: Private parking for three cars. Additional parking permits can be purchased at the parking department.
AMENITIES: Outdoor shower with hot and cold water, Wi-Fi, charcoal grill, washer & dryer, and central AC.
THINGS TO KNOW: **2023/24 Updates-Interior painting, updated kitchen, mini-refrigerator, 1st level primary en suite renovation, new dishwasher, and new blinds. This home rents Friday through Friday. Linens are not supplied, but bedspreads, pillows, pillow protectors, mattress pads, and mattress protectors are provided. We do offer a bed linen rental package. Absolutely no smoking and, sorry, no pets.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
