This wonderful property built in 1882 was a real school for over 100 years.
Situated in Whittingham in the Hunter Valley, conveniently located next door to local Vineyards, cellar doors, the Hunter Valley Gardens and wedding venues.The local shopping mall and food outlets are only a couple of kilometres away. This is the perfect escape to relax and explore the Hunter Valley with your family small or large! Set on several acres it is also perfect for that small wedding or group function.
The old schoolhouse has a very long history which is evident from the moment you step through the door and character in every nook and cranny of the original school grounds. The old schoolhouse is a classic style with sandstone and double brick construction, wonderful old style touches throughout.with high ceilings, open fire places, stained glass windows that are just some of the original features of this homestead along with some modern touches such as reverse cycle air conditioning, ceiling fans, and of course wifi and netflix.
