Near downtown and Nulu, the historic Henry Hensel House has been newly and thoughtfully designed and renovated to have all the modern amenities you need and want, while keeping the Italianate charm. Very walkable with easy access to trendy restaurants, shops and bars. Direct and quick access to I71, I64, and I65.
Our home affords you the unique opportunity to stay in a house on the National Register of Historic Places, that was built for Henry and Mary Hensel (the daughter of the first butcher in Butchertown). During your stay you can enjoy the uncounterfeitable historic character with expansive 12' ceilings all original wood accents and features.. While simultaneously experiencing the fresh and modern updates and amenities, thoughtfully and expertly designed. Bedrooms are accessed via stairs only.

+ Sleeping arrangements: There are two queen beds, a full bed, and a comfy couch in the living room (draw straws on who sleeps here). There are two bedrooms upstairs, each has a queen bed and the larger of the two has an additional full bed.
