Positive: There was a thoughtful welcome pack, with milk, cream tea, flowers and a good bottle of Prosecco. There were also dog treats for our dog. Everything was well explained in a booklet found on arrival. The cottage was well equipped and tastefully furnished etc. Lots of cupboard space in the kitchen and a Nespresso machine. Good quality towels and bed linen. Joining instructions were clear. Although the phone signal was a bit weak, which is to be expected in this location, there was excellent wifi coverage. We met the hosts on several occasions and they were very helpful and friendly.
Negative: We liked the remoteness of it and didn't mind the narrow lane leading in and out of the cottage - as we live in Devon we are used to that. Some visitors might find this tricky and it might be helpful to say more about it on the website to inform them before booking. We liked everything!
Summary: This is a great find - if you are looking for an out of the way place to stay.
