Summary: A wonderful, charming house in a perfect location near the sea. Perfect for a large family or group of friends. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms provide comfort and privacy. A sufficient number of garden furniture for feasting together in the shade of huge ancient plane trees. Peace and quiet. It is difficult to describe the charm of this house in words. We called him Little Downton Abbey. There is a kitchen with a pantry, dining room for servants, passage from the kitchen to the dining and living room, masters bedrooms and an attic for servants. Perfectly preserved layout and character of a 19th century house. At every step one can see souvenirs of former residents. It is impossible not to think about how they lived and whether they were happy here. As for practicalities, Lidl and bakery are at 5 minutes walk, all within reach. The bustling Dieppe and the sea a few kilometres to the north. The house is not in perfect condition, it could certainly be renovated here and there, but that did not take away its charm in our eyes. The only downside that can be probably easily corrected is insufficient preparation for the guests. If it were really cleaned up properly, it would be the eighth wonder of the world.
