Built in the 1900's, the hut's decor is unique, filled with memorabilia. It is situated in uninterrupted wilderness on the deepest section of the fresh water Clyde River. Our closest neighbors are kilometres away, a unique luxury this close to the coast. Relax knowing you don't have a neighbor in sight! We are just 15 minutes from Shallow Crossing and the Shoalhaven Blueberry Farm, not far to Pigeon House Mountain and the Castle bush walks, 25 minutes from beautiful Bawley beaches and 35 minutes from historical Milton and Ulladulla. You will have an abundance of great walking options and your tariff includes shared access to the deepest section of the freshwater Clyde river. Pack a picnic and swim, kayak or just lay back under the ancient trees. The hut is ideally configured for couples. The hut is powered by solar lights. No digital / electrical distraction, though you can access your mobile calls / internet 20 metres up hill from the hut. You are welcome to bring kayaks or canoes.Paddling up or down the mighty Clyde is an exhilarating experience- one not easily forgotten. Fishing the Clyde is a lot of fun but you will need a current fishing license, available from fisheries online. We respect your privacy, but should you need assistance our homestead is a km from the hut. Please note a 2 day minimum booking is required on weekends.
