Positive: We had a comfy stay, and the room was super clean with a lovely balcony. The location was very central, perfect for exploring this beautiful town on foot.
Negative: We were disappointed to be directed to park in a zone where we thought parking was allowed, only to end up with a ticket. We showed the receptionist where we had parked, and he said it was fine — this was actually the second spot we tried, following their instructions, since all the paid spots were taken. We felt let down by their advice, especially because they didn’t mention that some parts of the public parking are not free. The sign wasn’t visible at night, and with a long line of cars parked there, we trusted it was okay, as confirmed by the staff. They refused to refund us the ticket and didn’t acknowledge any responsibility for this, which was quite shocking. Also, breakfast was included in our stay, but by 9:30 AM they had already run out of croissants and ham and didn’t refill or restock them. Considering it’s a small hotel, we expected the same breakfast options to be available for all guests, even if we arrived a little later.
Summary: Good location and nice room with a lovely view, but disappointed to receive a parking ticket.
