Location
The vacation rental is located at an altitude of 800 meters in the picturesque village of Preserje. There are many hiking and walking tours through the forest where guests can acquaint themselves with the surrounding areas and pick fresh fruits native to the land. There is also a lake nearby (200 meters) which is ideal for swimming and fishing. Guests can buy a daily ticket worth 20 Euros to fish in the lake. There is also a restaurant at 200 meters and a local produce market about 3 minutes’ drive from the house. The local farmers rent their horses which is a good way to explore the nearby villages and trails. During winters, the cross-country slopes (about 500 meters from the house) makes for a great skiing destination.

This includes the main square, castle, the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge, Tivoli Park, churches and museums. The fascinating world of underground caves that are typical of the Karst region is worth exploring on a day trip.
