Summary: My 2 friends and I were very excited to check into your property! We received a house manual which appeared very promising for our stay and clearly outlined the amenities which we expected to be in order. Unfortunately our stay was not as promised for the following reasons: 1. We were given a set of keys for a different apartment after arriving which delayed our exploration of the city (this would not have been a problem if we had more than 48hours to explore). 2. The boiler was broken which we discovered on our first night. This meant that we were not able to shower. This also meant that the entire apartment was not able to be heated when the temperature overnight was 2deg. 3. The apartment was occupied by our host and workmen from 9:30AM until 9PM the following day. This meant that the entire day we were not able to spend time in the apartment comfortably and all of our personal belongings were left unsecured with strangers. This would not have been as much of a problem if we had access to a safe which was promised as per the property listing and house manual but we did not. 4. The apartment was located on the 4th floor only accessible by a windowless stairwell. Automated lighting was only accessible from the bottom floor which meant we had to descend the stairs in darkness. 5. The lack of hot water was concerning re the cleanliness/sterilisation of the apartment. We feel that these issues should have been identified and rectified prior to advertisement/accepting us.
