Designed by the internationally renowned architect Eren Talu, the Horizon Sky Resort exudes stylish modern design that delivers a luxury lifestyle experience. Set on a hillside surrounded by olive groves and stunning views of the Blue Aegean, Horizon Sky provides a perfect setting to enjoy a relaxing break. Landscaped gardens with exotic planting, water features provide a Turkish holiday resort which is superbly built to high European standards.
RESORT
The resort offers a number of facilities designed to cater for your every need. Find your perfect spot to sunbathe or cool down with a dip into one of eight swimming pools dotted around the resort. Keep the kids entertained with table tennis, pool table, table football, kids pools and a children's play area for the little ones. Visit the local beaches or venture further afield, there is always something to do a short distance from Horizon Sky for all age ranges. Four days per week you can take the free private boat service to Gulluk harbour, where you will find a line of waterside restaurants offering fresh locally caught fish and serving both Turkish and international cuisines to cater for all tastes. Here, you will have access to ATMs, banks, supermarkets, bakeries and other shops and business
Like other villages and towns, Gulluk has a market day and this is held on a Thursday.
Fresh fruit, vegetables, dried fruit, nuts, spices, clothes, hardware can be found in abundance. Well worth a visit.
When you arrive at Bodrum Airport there are 3 ways of getting to the Horizon Sky Beach resort, depending on when your flight arrives and preference.
BY BOAT
We feel the most romantic, convenient and the nicest way to arrive at Horizon Sky by using the free taxi boat. As you come out of Bodrum Airport there will be licensed yellow taxi drivers waiting to take you to the town of Gulluk, ask the driver to drop you outside The Broken Barrel Bar. This should take around 15mins and cost 75TL (about £18) If the boat is there to you can leave your luggage on board until it’s due to depart and your holiday starts now ! When you arrive at Horizon Sky , it’s as if you have arrived at a secluded island .......
The boat takes approx 35 minutes , you will disembark at the marina and walk a few yards to where the resort mini-bus or car will pick you up and take you up the hill to the entrance to the resort. If you have lots of baggage ask for help from the crew. At the entrance to the resort you will be asked to check-in at the security building. You will be given a set of keys and taken up to the apartment. There are a small flight of steps to the apartment so again ask for help if you need it with your bags.
BY TAXI - it’s a 45mins ride from Bodrum Airport, with the licensed yellow taxi drivers waiting to take you to your destination
Or hiring a car - I can supply you details of where to hire a car either at the airport or in Gulluk.
Food Shopping
There is a mini-mart on-site and Sinan’s shop just outside of the development. He sells every day basics and will deliver to the apartment if you order a significant amount.
If you have a car, the nearest supermarket is located 5-10 minutes drive away. It has a good selection of items.
The biggest supermarkets are in Gulluk. If you take the boat you can stock up and bring your shopping back with you. If the boat is there you can leave your bags while you go off and do other things. If you have a lot of shopping Then one of the drivers will take you to the penthouse
Restaurants
There is a restaurant and bar on site which is lovely. Kircin Marina beach bar and café down at the waterfront Marina (near to where you catch the boat) the food is excellent. The ambience is relaxing with outdoor dining, whilst watching the lovely boats. They run a shuttle service from Horizon Sky.
For a wider range of restaurants, bars and pubs then head to Gulluk. For those looking for an extra piece of luxury then there’s always The Med Inn which is a short taxi ride outside of Gulluk…it is well worth the ride. The sun-set from here is breath taking.
Local Beaches
The resort has its own private beach next to the Marina. Also there is Tepekoy Beach about a 5-10m walk away
Jasmine Beach is only 3 km away. If you call the owner of Yakamoz Restaurant he will come and collect you from Horizon sky or you could look him up on Facebook - Ayhan Can. Of course, they do expect you to buy a meal while you are there. This is great value for money, you can eat on the pontoon on the sea. You can also go in the evening for dinner on the beach and watch the sun-set.
Spa
The nearest spa is now in Gulluk at the new Marina and Spa Hotel (shaped like a ‘boat’ on the peninsular
Gym
There is a gym in Gulluk , which is very reasonably priced.
Public Transport
There is a bus station in Gulluk where you can catch the dolmus bus to Bodrum or to Milas. This is the easiest and cheapest way to get to Bodrum which is well worth a visit. It takes 40 minutes from Gulluk to get there. The shops are great and there are fabulous restaurants along the water’s edge.
Milas with its weekly food market is worth a visit. The locals say that you can get anything in Milas that you can get in Bodrum for half the price!
Once in Bodrum you can even take a day trip to Kos or Rhodes!!
I do have a more comprehensive information pack regarding the Horizon Sky Penthouse and the surrounding area. If you would like me to email this to you, then please don't hesitate to ask
Im happy to answer any other questions you may have
Thanks

Please keep wine glasses off of the sofa arms - throws to remains on the sofa please to protect it
No smoking anywhere inside the penthouse
Please make sure that the toilets cisterns always stop re-filling after use
The shower above the bath only needs to be turned on slightly, as the pressure is strong
Please use the shower wipers provided after showering

Please leave the safe open – so other guests can use it upon their arrival
Please leave all dirty towels and bed linen by the front door as you leave so they can be easily identified by the cleaners and leave the penthouse clean and tidy
