Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Nice little studio in a good location for airport connections. Very comfortable bed and Netflix included on the tv. We had a slight issue with the WiFi but the owners were proactive and helped resolve this quickly. Ideal for a short stay near Manchester airport.
Negative: 2 minor issues which could have been avoided: 1. The advert boasts free parking on site but on arrival, there was no space on the driveway despite receiving a message earlier in the day being told to park in front of the studio. We had to park around the corner to then be able to ask about parking. We were then informed that they did not own the 2 cars parked in front of the studio (I assume they are rented out for holiday goers). The owners asked us to park across the street to which we refused so they eventually moved their own car across the street to create space for us. 2. The radiators automatically switched on and we were then unable to turn them off so the studio got quite warm, baring in mind it is mid June. We opened the bathroom window for some air but returned shortly after to see the window had been pushed closed from the outside. Strange.
