It features a drawing room with open fire, sitting room with wood burner, kitchen/diner, sunny conservatory, piano room, and games room. Bedrooms include a super-king with en-suite, three family rooms, a double, and a king-size. There’s also a bathroom, two shower rooms, and a ground-floor shower. Outside: BBQ hut, hot tub, sauna, and enclosed dog areas. Amenities include a 4-oven Aga, microwave, 2 fridges, freezer, washer, dryer, dishwasher, WiFi, piano, table football, and table tennis. Poultry roam freely. Pet-friendly. Off-road parking for 5 cars. Due to a stream, children must be supervised. Dogs must not be left alone or enter bedrooms, drawing room, dining room, or furniture. 3-night minimum stay

Summary: Rambling old cottage with surprisingly large amount ofspace. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, enjoyed the sauna, barbecue and hot tub even in the bad weather. Many rooms, enough for children to get lost. Lots of interesting furniture and ornaments but all robust enough for children. Good dining and sleeping arrangements - 2 tables set for 8 and 14 (adults and adultschildren. Heating excellent, wood fire and barbecue worked. A few minor quibbles that could be improved: showers don't work properly, one bedroom door only stays closed if bolted, food processor missing spindle.
