Particularly tastefully decorated chalet, with cozy living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave, dining room with mountain views, 1 bedroom and bathroom (with bath and shower) and a separate toilet on the ground floor. On the 2nd floor there are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (with sink, shower and toilet). Each bedroom is suitable for 2 persons making the house suitable to stay with max 7/8 persons. The chalet is detached and on all sides there is garden and plenty of space to sit outside.
Kandersteg is located in the Canton of the Bernese Oberland in Switzerland. It is a small village, lies at an altitude of 1200 m and has about 1200 inhabitants. It is 850 km from Utrecht and only half an hour's drive from the highway. Also, this place is particularly easy to reach by train from NL. From the village you have a view of Blümlisalp (3663 m altitude), which is covered with snow in summer and winter. The elevator near the chalet goes directly to the Oeschinensee. It is a small cozy tourist village which mainly attracts the sporty holidaymaker. There are some supermarkets, a few delicatessens and a lot of restaurants and terraces. In the vicinity you can visit: the Blausee, a trout farm, Spiez and Thun on Lake Thuner, the cities of Bern and Interlaken, the Kiental, Adelboden, the Niessen and Stockhorn, Brigerbad and Leukerbad. Also conveniently located for transit to Italy via the Simplon Pass.
