It is ideal for families and couples who are looking for a relaxing break in one of England's prettiest counties. It is well located for exploring Shropshire's many delights as well as Cheshire, Staffordshire and even North Wales. The Shropshire Union Canal is nearby and walkers and cyclists will find plenty to explore. Summary: Well thought out barn conversion, hone from home, in terms of kitchen equipment. Owners were friendly and on hand for anything we needed, even left us with some fresh eggs. Good sized bedrooms, each with ensuites, as well as another toilet downstairs. Two small lakes, both fishable, one with plenty of small roach and rudd, the other with larger carp. My kids had great fun catching, and the scenery is fab. The Wharf Tavern is a fairly short walk over the canal and you're pretty close to Market Drayton and Newport for shops and restaurants.
