A very rare combination of elements, one of the very few villas that has it all. Perched into the tropical hillside, like a nest, the house has an amazing view of the sweeping blue sky and an infinite vista of blue ocean.
The space
When you enter through the massive teak front doors, you see through the large open airy living area, seamlessly, right on through to the pool, and beyond to the incredible ocean view.
From the moment you walk in, you immediately begin to relax and fall into a state of soothing wellness.
Southern Cross has a very open layout, the entire front of the house is glass from floor to ceiling, seamlessly marrying the "inside to the outside", and giving you a sense of connection to this awesome paradise.
The jungle surrounds the house giving you the feeling of being high up in the trees and a greater sense of privacy. The plants and wildlife are literally in your view 180 degrees.
All 3 light drenched bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with private decks and a view to the ocean . Summary: My family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at Southern Cross! The house was beautiful and as described with ocean views from the top floor and a beautiful pool on the main floor. My kids loved the pool and also the very short walk to the beach. The beach was amazing with some rocky areas and other wide sandy areas and perfect for my kids to play in the waves. My daughter really enjoyed her surf lesson! We loved how the house was quiet and secluded but also a quick trip into Santa Theresa for great restaurants and coffee shops. Additionally, Melissa and Minor were super great as house managers. They were quick with communication and on top of any issues that we had straight away. We would definitely recommend Southern Cross for your stay in Costa Rica!
