Both floors feature a "wall of doors" that can be completely opened to seamlessly merge indoor and outdoor living spaces, enabling you to enjoy the sights, sounds, and smells of the ocean, plus the feel of ocean breezes from inside your villa. Located in the prestigious neighborhood of Maria Bluff, your villa is an easy 8 minute drive to the restaurants, shops, and nightlife in Cruz Bay, and within 15 minutes of several of St. John's world famous beaches.
Sopra Mare offers 1600 square feet of living space, 2 bedrooms with private baths, private pool, off-street parking for 2 cars, plus ample indoor and outdoor lounging and dining options. The kitchen is well stocked and offers both coffee and espresso makers. The high speed wireless Internet is accessible everywhere indoors and out. There are multiple balconies that provide truly breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, St. Thomas, and several smaller nearby islands.
Your villa has automatic backup generator & automatic backup cellular Internet system to keep you powered up and connected through the occasional power outages that occur on this remote island paradise. The water supply in your villa is filtered by a top-of-the-line 3-stage UV water filtration system that delivers bottled water quality through ever faucet in your villa. Your villa was built in 2009 and features a modern floorplan with an internal staircase to the bedroom level for your convenience and safety, eliminating the need to go outside to access your bedroom as is the case in the numerous "pod-style" villas that pervade the St. John rental market.

Summary: We had a wonderful 9 day stay at Sopra Mare. Mike, the owner was always there to answer any questions we had prior to our arrival. David, the villa manager, met as at the car rental. We followed David to the villa where he showed us how and where everything was. We have visited St. John many times, but always stayed on St Thomas. Dinner, salad and wine was provided for us on the first day of our arrival on St Thomas. The villa has everything you need to enjoy your stay in paradise. We didn’t do anything but hit a different beach every day. Grocery stores are close by. Be prepared for sticker shock!! Hopeful we will be able to return in the future. Thanks Mike for sharing your piece of paradise
