Positive: This is a secluded spot in the middle of nowhere, which is what we wanted. Looking to retreat to nature, this location had it all. Birds, lizards, snakes, quiet, more birds and so many stars it was impossible to count. It is close to Portal and Cave Creek area. This is a perfect location for Birders. Let the property owner know a few days ahead and maybe the will put out the complimentary bird food to get the birds streaming in. It is a Mobile Home (missed that), but plenty spacious (4 adults) with gear. The home was well cleaned and had some sundries for the things we missed (soap, shampoo...). We would/will return to this home again.
Negative: A couple of small blips that the owner attended to right away. Coffee maker on the fritz, but they dropped one off the same night (and made us coffee to boo). Super windy... I know this is not the owners issue, but man it was windy.
Summary: A Great Spot for your Birding Adventures.
