And what a fun ride, the kids will love heading to lunch on the Gondola (closes at 5pm). There is also a FREE shuttle private to resort guests only that will take you anywhere in town door-to-door and pick you up anywhere you'd like for free until 10pm. Uber/Lyft/Taxis are easy to find if you need to come home after 10pm.
All you will need to check in is your credit card (for incidentals) and your ID. They will place a $100 hold on your card for damages and release the funds upon check-out. This is standard for most hotels.
