Positive: It’s in a beautiful location close to walks, waterfalls, rivers and drives away from beaches, towns, etc. There’s heaps to explore. It’s rare that our dogs are welcome in Portugal and so this was really, really appreciated. The house is the ground floor and so it’s cool. It’s clean and has great facilities. The hosts were really kind.
Negative: It maybe that the house was shut a long time before we got there, but it smelled damp. This perhaps is not a problem for people, but my health suffers (I have an inhaler) and so this was a little difficult.
Summary: Exceptional location with all you need. Dogfriendly too!
