Another highlight for children is the play area at Camping Aufenfeld, where there is also a small swimming lake to cool off in between. You can also plan a leisurely drive over the Gerlos Pass to the Krimml Waterfalls as a day trip. The thundering waterfalls inspire everyone who comes here and the Krimml Water World adjacent to the large car park is also well worth a visit. Here, children can try out various water games that are quite educational.
