One of the two wings of the River House is available for a unique get away for short term vacation rentals. The other apartment is occupied by the Ranch owner. The guest wing apartment which is being rented here, is a brand new redesigned space with 2 high end spa like bathrooms and spacious bedrooms that can each sleep four guests. A generous open concept living room with fireplace and brand new kitchen completed in 2022 offer high end appliances, a laundry area and views to the surrounding Navajo river, pond and mountains. An additional formal dining room that has a fireplace dating back to the 1800s rounds up this 1800plus sqft of private luxury. Enjoy the custom appointments and architectural features going back to the original homestead days while modern amenities enhance the overall experience. Guests staying in the River house apartment can have access to the amenities at the Main Lodge on a limited basis depending on availability and get a tour with advance requests. A private chef can be requested in advance and a custom menu created for an extra fee, allowing you to enjoy the full service and amenities in this special place. The base prices listed here only include the accommodations and amenities. Guests can indulge in excellent fly fishing on the river (catch and release) and are required to have a fishing permit. You are allowed to fish for four hours daily without adfitional charge. Fishing equipment and rentals plus outdoor activities like horse riding and hiking can be arranged along with guides with advance notice. For special events like weddings or retreats, a resort fee will apply depending on the type and scale of services needed. Feel free to bring your binoculars and telescopes and enjoy the gorgeous birds and night skies. The daily sunrise and sunsets over the Navajo Peaks and Banded peaks are memorable as the property is nestled at the base of the Continental divide at an elevation of about 8000 feet. Guests are most welcome to explore the whole property after notifying the onsite manager. The master bedroom has a King size bed with another double bed to sleep a family of four. The second bedroom has a queen and double beds also sleeping four comfortably. The living room can accommodate another 2 adults on the sleeper sofa and folding beds on request. The Master bathroom has a deep soaker tub for two w shower combo while the second Bathroom has stand in shower.
