Sandy Cott is a perfect little holiday lodge, on the popular Penstowe Holiday Park. Two bedrooms and a spacious open plan living area, plenty of private and shared outside green space, yet tucked away in a peaceful little corner of the grounds. Restaurants and bars on-site, with entertainment lined up to keep adults and children busy.
Situated just north of Bude, with fabulous access to all of the glorious beaches, including Northcott Mouth and Sandymouth, which is just south of Duckpool beach at the bottom of the Coombe Valley and Stowe Woods. They all have glorious expanses of golden sand at low tide. Bude itself has a wealth of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and galleries, a great playground and historic castle and canal. Further north and you are over the border into Devon, where Clovelly is well worth a visit.
Accommodation
Ground floor only: The front door leads into an open plan living/dining area with a small kitchen to the rear. There are comfortable sofas, a dining table and chairs and a flat-screen TV. The master bedroom has a 4'6" double bed and storage. There is a twin bedroom with a pair of 2'6" single beds and blackout blinds. The family bathroom has a 3/4 length bath with a shower over, WC and hand basin. Storage cupboard.
Exterior: Parking space for 1 car, more available on consultation with the owners. Table and chairs in a private seating area. Trees and wide open communal lawns between the lodges.
Facilities & Services
The property has electric radiators. The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of units. Integrated appliances, including slimline dishwasher, hob, oven and microwave, there is also a toaster, kettle and fridge with icebox. The lounge area has a flatscreen, digital, Freeview TV. There is an iron & ironing board. There is NO WiFi available at the property, however, the 4G reception is good. There is unlimited WiFi available, free of charge at the Manor House. Access to the site swimming pool is on a pay as you go, direct with the pool. On site shared laundry room with washing machine & dryer available for use, coin operated.
Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating and bed linen are all included, you will need to bring your own towels and beach towels. One well behaved dog is welcome at an additional £30 per week. Due to allergies, strictly no other pets allowed unless by special request. Dogs may not be left unattended at the property. No smoking is allowed in the Lodge. There are a cot and high chair available on request. On site shared laundry room with washing machine & dryer available for use, coin operated.
