Travel Purpose: business
Positive: Perfect location and near to many shops, restaurants/cafes, grocery stores, and within walking distance to Thamel. You can also order food from downstairs and they will bring it up to you. Easy to find a ride by taxi or inDrive from the main street. Apartment is very comfortable and spacious, especially for two people. We stayed for almost two weeks and enjoyed having so much space and the outdoor area as well. Laundry on site, so you can do it at your convenience. Great kitchen and beautiful solarium to look out and see outside. Host was communicative and accommodating. There was one day I locked myself out of the apartment but it was easy to ask the staff downstairs to help me get in. We also needed to extend our stay at the last minute and did so without any issues.
Negative: Certain things are out of their control, like noisy outside with motorists and sellers, and just people out having fun, but overall those things didn't bother us much. I would have liked if it were a little cleaner, but there were no real problems with the state of the place worth mentioning to our host. Water pressure in the shower is low, but gets very hot (so hot we often opted for cold water during showers). I had a problem with online payment, so ultimately had to pay in cash, which is no big deal but noting that eSewa and other online payment methods didn't work for me. But if you have those things already set up, you should have no problem.
Summary: Will definitely stay here anytime I'm in Kathmandu
