Positive: In the middle of nowhere! There are other properties around but you feel at one with nature here. The home is old and authentic - imagine your grandmother lived here and it’s not been changed. Her furniture and crockery in use still!! The view of the mountains is lovely. We walked along trails (used AllTrails which was accurate). We drove 15 mins to the main river and tracked down to a beautiful swimming spot. You can hear local barking dogs, but also donkeys, sheep, cicadas etc. Ate in the village - you eat what is on the dish today. Ravioli and salad. The villagers are friendly and greet you with a smile.
Negative: We had trouble with the washing machine but that was sorted quickly. The shower cubical could be updated (tricky to close it).
Summary: If you want to treck to waterfalls and streams in the mountains and observe life in the village with the most centenaria
