Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and step into a private cozy brick ranch home. This wooded 0.33 acre lot is on the outskirts of Davenport, but only 3 miles from the center of the city with local breweries, eateries, shows, the Mississippi river, and the city-known Freight farmers market.
SPACE
Reconnect with your inner nature and savor simple pleasures by watching bunnies hop and squirrels chase right in your own backyard. Pick homegrown strawberries in our outdoor garden beds and roast marshmallows and chocolate for some epic smores and ghost stories around the outdoor firepit. We do ask you please purchase your own firewood if you would like to light the firepit. Don't miss the opportunity to truly unwind and disconnect. Our home does now include Wi-Fi in case you can't resist laying back to enjoy your favorite movie.
Simply take the short staircase to enter the humble abode one-level ranch home. The home offers an open floor layout between the kitchen and living room and two private bedrooms and one private bathroom. The bathroom is attached to the living area for ease of use by all guests.
PARKING
Free parking is available along the long driveway and on the gravel spaces out back of the property.
NEIGHBORHOOD
While you will have plenty of outdoor space, the home is nestled on the edge of a small neighborhood.
The entire space is available for guests to access. The basement of the property locked off for storage and mechanicals.
All rules of this agreement are not suggestions, they are mandatory for any guest staying on the property, and failure to adhere to them can lead to fines and/or eviction from the property without refund depending on the severity of the infringement. There will only be one warning before immediate eviction from the property.

PROPERTY ISSUES
Please contact us immediately if there are any issues during your stay. We will deal with any issues in a timely and professional manner. Please note that we cannot address issues to your satisfaction if we are notified after your stay. We can’t fix what we don’t know about.
HOUSE OPERATION
This is a lodging-only property. No parties are allowed in the house except if approved by the owner prior to your arrival.
There is no Wi-Fi or internet available at the house. We do offer a TV with a DVD player for watching movies at home.
We offer biweekly mowing service and snow removal when snowfall is greater than 2 inches. Please be mindful to keep the yard clear of trash and pet waste so our team can be most efficient.
This is a no-smoking property. Please fully leave the grounds if you need to smoke. You may not smoke anything of any kind anywhere on the premises, inside or outside. You will be charged a $250 fee if you smoke at the property.
Please respect the quiet hours of the neighborhood between 11pm to 8am. Our neighbors help make our place safe and homey, please return the favor.
The bath products are there for you to use, but please do not take them with you. If you love them, they can be purchased at online.
We understand that every guest has a different comfort level when it comes to sleeping temperatures, and we allow you to adjust the temperature when you desire. However, we ask that you do not set the temperature below 68 degrees when cooling and move them back up to 72 during the day. This is to ensure our HVAC system runs smoothly and does nothing freeze over. If the system freezes due to the temperature being set too low for extended periods of time, it will become the guest’s responsibility to pay the repair fee which is around $200 per repair.
TRASH
Trash Day is on Friday. Recycling comes every other week on Friday typically on the 2nd and 4th week of the month.
If your trash becomes full, bagged trash can be disposed of in trash cans and recycling can be placed in the blue recycling bins found outside of the house. Do not leave excess trash on the street as the city trucks will not pick up overflowing trash or any trash that has been put in recycling bins. Please reference the house manual section in your rental app to see the listed trash day.
PET RULES
Please do not let pets on the furniture inside or outside of the house. Any damage or excess cleaning due to your pet will result in a fee. Please pick up after your pets in the yard. When walking pets in the neighborhood, we require you keep them on a leash at ALL times. Please keep in mind when you take your pet out that the yard is not fully fenced.
EARLY CHECK-IN/LATE CHECK-OUTS
Please observe the designated check-in and check-out times. We cannot accommodate early check-ins or late checkouts due to cleanings and scheduling, unless approved by the owner at least 24 hours prior to your arrival or departure date. A fee will be incurred if the Airbnb is not vacated by check-out time.
CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS
When checking out, put the towels you used on the ground, so our cleaners know what you used and don't waste water and resources cleaning unused towels. Please place towels and sheets in one pile and comforters and quilts in a separate pile.
We ask that you wash any dishes and cookware you used and make sure to clean out the coffee maker.
Make sure to shut the door and lock it behind you. Should you leave before check out time, please let us know so our cleaners can get started.

Summary: -Master bedroom reeked of cigarettes, found cigarette butts outside the drafty windows. Smell died down over stay. -Floors throughout were not clean, dust accumulated in corners and on baseboards.- wooden walls were dusty and had cobwebs. - shower had significant mold- Flooring lacks threshold transitions at doorways, and in the area between living room to kitchen, the floor just ends 2” above the living room floor, with exposed wood ends. Two of our party tripped and one got a pretty nasty splinter. - back door smart lock does not lock except from the inside- window coverings are see through and dusty- kitchen sink is not level, does not drain well due to being unlabeled, and has mold along sides- Thought I heard mice a few times, but saw no evidence until the sink had a mouse in it the morning before my scheduled departure, making me decide to leave early. - hot water is set to scalding temps, unsafe for kids. Hot water runs out in about 5min, so the high temp is likely an attempt to make it last longer.- front steps are covered in slippery algae and surrounded by inches deep mud.- side of house with picnic tables had trash on them and the ground around them (soda cans and chic fil a boxes and bags).- a set of keys is available inside the house on a shelf, who knows how many they’ve been copied- rear tiny house someone sneaks in late at night- no dish soap/trash bags- limited clean linens (2 towels, party of 3)Out of space, more issues couldn’t note.
