Rowan Farm is set on beautiful acreage in Fitzroy Falls, Southern Highlands with it's own Llamas, sheep, and chickens! Collect your own eggs for breakfast. This High Quality country accommodation offers a taste of a real Country Getaway. Fitzroy Falls is on the edge of the escarpment between Kangaroo Valley and the Southern Highlands Towns of Bowral and Moss Vale. Rowan Farm sits just 600m from the famous Fitzroy Falls site. There are local Cafes but it is just a short drive to either Burrawang, Bowral - with all its facilities - or down into the amazing Kangaroo Valley. The home has been newly renovated in a conventional style with space for 6 guests. Beautifully warm and toasty in the Winter yet cool for hot Summer days. There is even a fire pit for cool nights to watch the stars.. There are three queen size bedrooms in the main house with a beautiful bathroom. The main lounge/dining room/entertainers kitchen is perfect for either a group of friends or the extended family. There is Smart TV and Pay TV for your enjoyment. Recent guests left these beautiful reviews:This is my 2nd time that we stayed at Rowan Farm and it did not disapoint yet again. The first time we stayed at Rowan Farm it only had a few sheep and 2 Alpacas! but we were thrilled to find there are now chickens and a new herd of Alpacas, the kids just loved them. We collected fresh eggs in the morning and sat around a gorgeous fire every night. We love the location of the farm as it is close to Fitzroy Falls and many little country towns. The house is decorated beautifully and has so much space. The well equipped kitchen and lovely decorated bedrooms. The beds are super comfy. With air conditioning, a gas fire place it caters for all weather and seasons. We would highly recommend this wonderful place for an occassion or a casual family weekend away. I know myself and a group of friends will most definately be back soon! This is the first time I have booked a place without any reviews. Yet it turned out to be much much better than expected. The place itself sits in a beautiful and quiet area and less than 15 minutes walk to Fitzroy Falls. The premises were modern and tranquil and fully furnished with 3 queen bedrooms and a seperate flat at the rear. We were amused with Jane's hospitality in preparing every single detail for our stay! but the home had everything you should need to cook a meal. A beautiful garden with fresh vegetables and nearby Llamas, Alpacas, sheep and chickens and yes fresh eggs! My family stayed at Rowan Farm for a long weekend and just had to share my wonderful experience. The house is surprisingly modern with all the comforts one would expect to make one feel at home. We loved the gas fireplace and spent an evening playing board games with the family. The kitchen is very well equipped with every applicance to be able to preapre that family meal and a revolving pantry, such a great idea! The beds were particularly comfortable and the bedrooms well appointed and spacious. The granny flat was just charming and great for our teenagers to retreat! they even had their own Smart TV and bathroom. Fitzroy Falls is just down the road and within walking distance and very close to Bowral and Moss Vale as well as Kangaroo Valley. Wineries are a plenty with Mount Ashby only 10 mins away. The kids especially enjoyed collecting eggs from the farm chooks! and giving the sheep and Alpacas carrots! There is plenty of space for kids to run around and simply be kids, we even had a night around the firepit and toasted marshmallows. We were so sad to leave and will definately be returning. Pets are welcome but there is a flat $100 fee per stay. Please check with us when booking as sometimes baby animals and not able to welcome your pet.
