You will stay in peace and quiet on a small holiday estate with four other villas on the outskirts of the Brabant village of Alphen.
In Alphen, you will find a good supermarket, some eating establishments, and a bicycle rental. Peace seekers can enjoy the Chaamse and Alphen forests here. These forests are centuries old.
In warm weather, you can swim at the recreational lake 't Zand. The attraction, Safari Park Beekse Bergen, and recreation park Efteling are suitable for a fun day out.
Just under 6 km away is the border village of Baarle Nassau. This particular enclave is in the Netherlands but has no fewer than 30 Belgian enclaves.
