Premilcuore is located on the edge of the Casentinesi Forests National Park, in the upper valley of the Rabbi river. It is a medieval village surrounded by the greenery of the first hills of the Tuscan-Romagnolo Apennines at an altitude of 458 meters above sea level, it is a health resort thanks to its healthy and regenerating climate. It is a village to be discovered in every alley, corner or square that opens new views of the river and the mountains. Here you can find peace thanks to the fascinating and intact urban aspect, the greenery and the thousand colors that the trees are painted with as the seasons change. In the surroundings: Along the Rabbi river you will discover natural pools among the most suggestive for bathing and the wild and spectacular landscape, a nucleus of three waterfalls called respectively, La Grotta Urlante, La Cascata della Sega and La Seghina; located just below the Agriturismo Ridolla right inside the Casentinesi Forest Park.
The “Grotta Urlante” is a gorge where the waters of the river fall into a deep whirlpool called At one end of the bridge there is an ancient fulling mill, where woolen cloths were worked and, after treatment, were placed to dry on the rustic balconies still visible on the facade. • From Florence: SS67 towards San Godenzo to Cavallino, continue on the junction for SP9 ter
