Summary: The apartment is located in a quiet environment in Balaclava. The nearest supermarket (Jumbo) is about 6 km. The nearest public beach is about 3 km away. A rental car is advisable. We had rented the apartment in Feb./March 2018 for 33 nights solely with the intention of getting to know the island, which is why the central location was very important to us. The apartment is well maintained and with about 90 m² very spacious. All items needed for a longer stay are available. Tuesdays and Fridays, the apartment was cleaned and changed the sheets. The description on the internet corresponds to reality. We found everything as described. Didier and Marylin, the owners, are very friendly, helpful and with integrity. For the duration of our stay we had a rental car, to which Didier helped us on fair terms. We felt well and safely accommodated and can recommend the apartment with a clear conscience.
