Positive: We stayed in casa sousão on Quinta do monte Travesso. The house itself is very private, with a short trip through an amazing vineyard and dirt road. Once you arrive, your view is just absolutely stunning. This is a perfect house for large family or 3 couples, each room has its own ensuite. The hosts of the Quinta are very friendly and accomodating, they will fill your fridge with everything you need from eggs, milk and ham and cheese. Every morning you will receive fresh bread for breakfast. They also leave a bottle of their amazing red wine on the dining table, but make sure you also try their white wines which are very easy to drink and will have you going back for a case. I can’t praise how much we loved staying here…book it and you won’t regret it!
