Walden's history includes the reintroduction of moose in nearby Gould, CO, thus boasting the title of "Moose Viewing Capital of Colorado." Walden is the ideal location for all of your outdoor recreation activities!
The cabin has a long history of usage, including an office space, jewelry store, and was even used many, many years ago to store oil barrels as an addition to the old local gas station! The cabin has been refinished but boasts the original charm and character of a building full of history. The Majestic Moose Cabin is a one room cabin, plus bathroom with shower, and a kitchen. Space has been thought out carefully and includes a custom-made queen-sized murphy bed that folds down for comfortable sleeping. There is also a couch with a queen-sized sofa bed or twin-sized air mattress if you prefer.
Enjoy your fresh caught trout and/or some elk steaks in the backyard on the BBQ grill! Or, if cooking isn't your specialty, the cabin is within walking distance to several local restaurants/bars!
