The house is 427 m² and is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden, a large fully equipped terrace, a playground, a magnificent tree house and a private swimming pool and can accommodate up to 14 people. Ideally situated, you will love its location in a quiet area, close to all amenities and near the most famous tourist sites.

## Logement
Our house is perfect for a wonderful family vacation. Built in the early 1800's, it reveals a historic charm and exudes a typical French style. While proudly retaining its history and age, it contains many modern features that combine history and modernity in harmony!
As you enter the property through the gate, you will first see on your right the protected area where, in the early 18th century, the local French came to pay their "tributs" or taxes to the King.
This house has so many stories and we know you will experience many of them during your stay here. There are plenty of places to park cars on the paved driveway and each space is protected by trees that help keep cars cool in the summer!
A former dovecote with two occupied studios can also be found on the property, well separated from the Bastide. Only the entrance gate is shared.
The house is entered through the large double antique door that opens to the beautiful hallway and open staircase.
On the main floor, the house has a large kitchen and dining room, a large living room, a home theater room with surround sound (and a beautiful fireplace for the colder months!), a fully equipped laundry room, and an air conditioned office. In addition, there is a double bedroom with bathroom and French doors that open to the outdoor dining area and oak tree. The main floor of the house is equipped with SONOS speakers allowing music to accompany you wherever you go!
The open staircase leads you to the first floor of the house where you will find a large master bedroom with air conditioning, SONOS speakers, bathroom (with bathtub and large shower) and a separate dressing room. There are five further double bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms and the last two sharing a shower room. At the top of the stairs, glass doors lead to the upstairs terrace which offers a wonderful view of the garden.
Outside in the garden, you will find many places to enjoy the day and evening. The main outdoor dining room is accessed from the kitchen/dining room and is sheltered under a magnificent 500 year old oak tree. It contains a large dining table with 10 chairs and a gas barbecue. Passing through the front of the house, you will find another dining table with 6 chairs and an umbrella, which is perfect for having breakfast in the morning sun. The pergola looks like a secret garden hiding a perfect place to escape the midday sun and read a book in peace. The terrace also has a sofa area that is perfect for an early evening drink! Japanese paver steps lead you to the private pool which has lounge chairs for sunbathing and a bench to sit and enjoy the view from the house. There is a pool house to store pool equipment and a ping-pong table.
Behind the pool is a bocce court and a beautiful tree house for the kids (or adults!) to play and enjoy! The garden is equipped with SONOS speakers so you can enjoy music during the day and the sunset at night.
There are plenty of amenities inside and out to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible, including a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, double stove with double oven, home theater system, built-in SONOS sound system, washer, dryer and iron, hair dryer, heating, French-style double refrigerator/freezer with built-in water and ice maker, Wi-Fi, bedding, towels, air conditioning (master bedroom and office), fans
and open fireplace. Please note that a professional cleaning is done before and after each traveler.

We are located in a quiet area, close to the village center and all amenities. Velaux and Rognac are the nearest towns where you will find weekly markets, banks, supermarkets, green groceries, butcher shops, bars, restaurants and pharmacies. Ventabren is a beautiful town nearby with a wonderful Michelin starred restaurant "Dan B" which is perfect for a really special occasion! Aix-en-Provence and the city of Marseille are only a 20 minute drive away where you can find a train to both cities in the nearby town of Rognac. There are other places to visit nearby, including the archeological site of Roquepertuse at 9 min, the seigniorial mill museum at 7 min, the Tower museum at 6 min, the Saint Hilaire castle at 10 min, and many more...
