Private Waterfront Pool Home - "Lily Pad Landing" | House in Davenport

4 Bedroom House in Bridgewater Crossing, Davenport
This home has everything you need for that perfect Florida vacation! Minutes from Disney, 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs, and one bedroom and additional full bathroom downstairs if you have someone that would prefer no steps. Private views from almost every window, and you can see the lake from all 3 upstairs bedrooms! And YES! You can fish in the lake, so bring your rods! Just watch for gators - they are definitely in there. You just have to know how to spot them! They're little!
You won’t feel like you’re crammed into a rental unit looking at your neighbors. Guests love to stay here because if you don’t want to hit the beaches or theme parks, you can just lounge by the pool or relax on the oversized sectional sofa and watch the beautiful birds and wildlife that come and go constantly on the lake. Turtles, fish, and lily pads abound in the lake, as well. You can even occasionally watch hot air balloons passing overhead!
This home is absolutely beautiful. Light and bright, peaceful and relaxing. Fully renovated and updated, with all brand new furnishings including new beds, mattresses, linens, appliances, and finishes. Flat screen televisions are in the master bedroom, the downstairs bedroom, and in the family room. The heated pool is also newly refinished, with a mosaic tiled family of turtles swimming at the bottom! The kids LOVE this addition! You will love sitting by the pool and watching the lake while the family swims.
Just park 2-car driveway, and enter through a 1-step entry. Downstairs is a large family room, kitchen, and dining area with a bright open floorplan. Two sliding glass doors lead out to the private pool, with lounge chairs, and patio chairs for outdoor dining. Downstairs has a laundry room, a Route 66 themed bedroom, and a full bathroom. The downstairs bedroom does not share a wall with the family room, and it has a separate hallway that can be enclosed for noise reduction if you have a daytime napper. Upstairs, you will find a large master bedroom with a beautiful view over the pool and lake, with a distant view of treetops (and occasional fireworks!), a soft king-sized bed, a desk/work station, a walk-in closet, and a large bathroom with double sinks, a deep-soaking tub, and a separate shower. Upstairs also has the Star Wars bedroom that has 2 twin beds with a small lake view, mermaid themed bedroom with a reading bench and a queen sized bed, also with a lake view, and a 3rd full bathroom.
Guests will have full, private access to the entire home interior and pool area. The garage is the only area that is not accessible for guest use.
No need to collect keys or worry about arriving late at night, as we have an electronic keypad. Credit cards accepted. Property management is available 24/7 if you have any emergency needs during your stay. We know that if you stay here once, this will become a family tradition, as it has been for others!
This is the only home we make available for guests. This is an owner-managed property, so all of our energy is focused on making sure you have a memorable and relaxing vacation with your friends and/or family.
This quiet neighborhood has basketball courts, sand volleyball, a playground, and a community pool, in addition to the private pool at the home. You will stay among 165 acres of wetlands, with spring-fed Lake Madison and an adjoining nature trail.
We frequently stay in the house ourselves to visit the Disney World Parks. We love that you can get there by the freeway or a back road in less than 15 minutes! It's also about 20 minutes from Sea World and Universal Studios, which we also visit frequently. There are plenty of grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants nearby - even a luxury movie theater. We'll leave you tips on getting around town. This home is close to everything, while being in the middle of very nice, quiet, clean neighborhoods.
The pool has a solar cover in cooler months that does a fairly good job at keeping the pool warm, if it is kept on while not in use. If you don't plan on swimming, feel free to roll the cover up and enjoy looking at the pretty pool with the turtle mosaics at the bottom. If you do plan on swimming, the solar cover will likely suffice in the hotter season (unless you like a very warm pool). It is Florida, and it's very hard to predict what the weather will do. We have a pool heater, and we charge $20/day to have that running. I suggest that you wait until the week prior to your stay and check the weather to help determine if you want to pay for extra pool heat. Just be sure to let me know at least a few days in advance of your stay if you want pool heat so I can send you the payment instructions. Then you can decide how warm you want the pool! Keep in mind that Florida has some cold snaps that even the pool heater struggles to keep up with. I speak from experience because my girls prefer a 90 degree pool in the middle of January, and there are some days that the heater can't fight against the cold wind. I'll do my best to make it as comfortable as possible for you, though!

Take trash out to the bin on the side of the house, don’t stress about gathering it all up from all of the bathrooms. Food that is unopened and unused produce can be left in the fridge; this will be donated to local families in need.
This community is very quiet. It's not the place for loud outdoor music, or other noise that can't be kept inside the walls of the home. Please help to keep the neighborhood quiet and peaceful for surrounding residents and guests.
As for parking, the association is very strict about the vehicles. 2 vehicles can park in the driveway, and cannot be hanging out into the street at all. Some street parking is available but is not guaranteed.
Excessive cleaning from dirt, food in areas other than the kitchen and dining rooms, and/or garbage could result in an increased cleaning free. Missing or stained linens will be charged at $15/towel and $40/sheet.
Here’s the basic summary of the rules: Please treat the home as if you were visiting a friend that you actually liked and respected. Remember that a regular family put in a lot of time and money into the house to make sure the home is absolutely beautiful for you and many others. We’re teachers, doing our best to invest all of our resources into the premise that other families should be able to go on a relaxing vacation in a very nice home, without needing to worry about anything. We love to hear that our home helped a family make some awesome memories! But we aren’t a rich organization or big property management company, so if you’re planning on sneaking in a few people or pets, or let your kids jump on furniture with cups of grape juice, we (and future guests) would greatly appreciate it if you picked a different home. Thank you so very much for your understanding!
