We have a very welcoming home and love to meet new people and learn about new cultures. Our children are now adults but they still come and go a lot. We do respect your privacy and will not impose ourselves if that is your wish.
We live at the foot of the Galty Mountains in the beautiful Glen of Aherlow where you can enjoy the outdoors and nature at its best. Go for a walk in the Nature Park to see the birds and wildlife, pick flowers and you also have the freedom to run in the surrounding woodlands. It is very scenic place and offers many activities, like hiking, horse riding, fishing, mountain biking, and golf.
Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel are only 30min away and you can also visit Mitchelstown Caves again approx 30min away. Ballyhoura Country, famous for its forests, trails, mountain biking and local food producers is just 35min.
Our location is only an hour from both Cork and Shannon Airports and two and a half hours from Dublin.
There are many hotels ,restaurant's and shops within 20min from our home.
Local shop and bars only 15min walk.
It would be advisable to have a car as public transport is not very frequent.
Large room on the top floor, with a double bed and couch. Very suitable for a couple. Bathroom next door, for guests use only. It has a wardrobe ,locker and dressing table with mirror. Very Cosy.
