Positive: The price was good for August on Oahu. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom worked very well. The owner replied to messages right away.
Negative: This was the first time I reserved and stayed in a vacation rental using Booking.com, so I was unaware that Booking.com allowed the owner to list an address that is not the address of the property (the actual property address is 328A Oneawa St., Kailua). INACCURACIES IN THE LISTING ON BOOKING.COM: The photos on Booking.com were not this unit; one thing to note is that the refrigerator in the unit is smaller than the refrigerator in the photo. The listing says the unit has air conditioning, but there is only air conditioning in the bedroom (a window air conditioner). The kitchen does have a ceiling fan, but it's not AC. OTHER ISSUES Wifi - poor signal TV did not have local channels Parking is inconvenient (more than a block away) The remote for the kitchen light and ceiling fan worked intermittently The remote for the air conditioner needed a battery replaced Even though the owner replied quickly to messages, the owner took no actions to correct anything I requested (for example, replace the remote battery or supply more toilet paper).
Summary: A good price but the unit is very basic, and some things were not as advertised.
