Guests have full access to the home and property, including parking for 3 to 4 cars beside the lodge and space for four more near the driveway entrance. The lodge sits a little over a mile up a well-maintained gravel road that winds through the woods and opens to sweeping ridge views at the top. The road is plowed regularly during winter, especially including before and during guest stays. Because conditions can change quickly in the mountains, four-wheel drive is required in snowy months and we strongly recommend bringing tire chains for added traction. The drive up feels like an adventure, and once you arrive, the peace, views, and privacy make it more than worth the climb.

While Snowshoe offers all the comforts of a resort town, the area itself is remote, which is part of its beauty.
