Our summer cabin and wooded property has been in our family for three generations. We have 500 feet of lakefront. You're less than 90 minutes away from wonderful recreational and relaxing destinations such as Mackinac Island, Traverse City, wine country, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and Hartwick Pines State Park. Or, just stay around our cabin to read, sunbathe, walk, fish, or swim. TV access includes ABC, NBC, CBS, and PBS. No Internet and little cell phone access can be a blessing! Nearby towns for dining, shopping and entertainment include Lewiston and Gaylord. Sorry, no hunters.

Summary: Property was nice and peaceful. Was only able to stay through Saturday morning as a pipe broke in the bathroom. Had to shut off water to the house so house wouldn't flood and find and pay for a new place to stay. All happened the morning of the day we were having a celebration of life for my mom. Host was accommodating and let us leave our stuff there until later in the day. Good communication with host once I had cell service in town.
