2 miles north of downtown Rockland, 5 miles south of downtown Camden, and 1 mile from the Samoset Wedding venue and golf course - this is the perfect spot to get away and enjoy some sun, rest, and relaxation.
With 5 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, our home can accommodate up to 9 people. Our home also features a fully stocked kitchen, large dining room, spacious living room, and rear sunroom with stunning ocean views.
You will enter through the side door facing the driveway into a stylish mudroom with a mini fridge, full laundry, board games, and a seating area. As you continue, you will find a galley kitchen with all of the basic cooking necessities for family meals. Toward the back of the house you will find a 4 season sunroom with a full bathroom (stand up shower), stylish lounge area, and a twin daybed. This room has large picture windows overlooking the cove, a smart TV with cable and streaming capabilities and opens to a back deck with a grill and patio set (in the summer). Beyond the back deck, you will find a spacious backyard with a custom firepit and Adirondack chairs and an outdoor shower with solar powered heat to wash off the sand and sun. The yard has steps down to the ocean/sand area (in low tide). Perfect for kayaking in high tide and walking the large beach at low tide.
The other side of the kitchen opens to both the front wrap around porch and the magazine worthy dining room space. With seats for 8 at the high end Pottery Barn table, you will be sure to make lasting memories gathered here. Beyond the dining room is a coastal dream of a living room with a game table, Samsung smart TV, electric fireplace, and custom sectional sofa that you will never want to get up from.
Upstairs, you will find 4 bedrooms, an exercise room, and a full bathroom with a claw foot tub and handheld shower head. The first bedroom has a king bed with a reading nook surrounded by windows to get cozy and enjoy a summer read. The second bedroom has a full bed; the third has a queen bed; and the fourth has a queen bed and dedicated work space for work from home needs. Through the bathroom, you will find an exercise room with backyard and ocean views. This room includes a treadmill, yoga mat, and free weights. Guests will need to acknowledge a waiver prior to using this room.
Wake up to the sunrise over the Penobscot Bay and enjoy the beautiful moonlit nights. Walk along Clam Cove and discover its many treasures.
Guests have access to all areas of this house with the exception of the attic, basement, garage, and one storage closet.
We are located 2 miles north of downtown Rockland, 5 miles south of downtown Camden, and 1 mile from the Samoset Wedding venue and golf course. We are conveniently located directly on the corner of Route 1. This allows for some road noise during the day, but typically is much quieter at night. Each bedroom comes with a personal sound machine to help with any road noise you may hear for light sleepers. The water is set far back from the road, so there is minimal disruption at the beach itself.
A car is recommended for this location. Our driveway can accommodate 2-3 cars maximum.
The house is located in a cove, so twice a day at low tide, the beach is long and there is a lot of sand to walk and enjoy before getting to the water.

Furry Friends:
We absolutely adore dogs and would love to welcome yours, however we have had some issues with furry friends not treating our home with respect, so unfortunately we have had to update our pet policy.
Pet Policy:
Pets will be permitted on a case by case basis. We must be notified size and breed of your pup prior to your arrival. Owners are responsible for picking up all waste and alerting us if there have been any accidents inside, so that we can resolve properly. Absolute maximum is 1 pet per stay. Violation of this rule will result in loss of security deposit. Additionally, there is a $125 non refundable pet fee per stay. This does not cover any potential damages caused by pets. Please let us know if anything happens during your stay and we will work with you to resolve it. We appreciate your respect and understanding!
There are exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video outside all entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.
