12 Seawinds is in a block of 13 privately owned apartments situated across the road from Silversands Beach in Christchurch.
It is in an area popular for kite surfing. There is a park used by the locals for picnics nearby. The apartment is about10 minutes away from the airport so is useful for stopovers.
Although Taxis are available, there is a bus service and minibuses which can take you into Oistins (famous for its Friday night fish fry) St. Lawrence Gap with many bars and restaurants and Bridgetown which are all further along the south coast.
Miami beach which is good for swimming and has lots of facilities is only 10 minutes away on the bus.
The apartment has stunning views of the sea and local area. It is best suited to adults and couples. Although only 1 bedroom, a sofa bed and folding bed is available. The bathroom has a shower. There is air conditioning in the bedroom. Because the apartment Is on the top floor it benefits from the sea breezes.The kitchen Diner has a gas stove, fridge and washing machine. There is cable TV and free wifi. On the balcony you can eat, sunbath and admire the view. There is a useful shop around the corner and there is a local bar.
My agent or myself prefer to pick you up from the airport and then be available for any further assistance.
There is a security system so the apartment is particularly safe for single travellers.
Cleaning is available or you can help yourself to fresh linen and towels as and when you need it.

Summary: We have stayed at Silver sands before but this was the first time with Lauren and Roy could not fault it thank you for the hospitality and help whilst we were there during a difficult time for everyone ( world pandemic) nothing was too much trouble. On a practical note the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need for a wonderful holiday.
