Classic Poppy cottage located only 3/10 of a mile from the beautiful, private Popponesset Beach, 3/4 of a mile from the Popponesset Marketplace, and 1/2 mile from the Spit. This means you are walking distance to eateries, shopping, live music (Thursday to Sunday evenings in the summer), and mini golf, where kayak, paddle boards and bike rentals are also available. Or drive the 14 miles to Woods Hole Terminal and take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket for the day. It’s a short 4 miles from Mashpee Commons (restaurants, movies, more shopping…), 1.5 from Cape Cod Children's Museum, 8 miles from Falmouth, and 11 miles to Hyannis.
The comfortable living room in this beach cottage has a vaulted ceiling with a fan and sky lights. It’s open to the kitchen where the sliding glass door leads to outdoor dining, lounge chairs and a nice private back yard that includes an outdoor shower, fire pit, a grill, and plenty of room to play. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the second has 2 twins, and the “kids” bedroom with 2 twin bunk beds sleeping a total of 8 guests. Recessed lights, a closet and dresser completes each room.
For the beach: chairs, an umbrella, a cart, and beach toys are included. Available to you indoors are games, books, and playing cards, in addition to a flat screen tv with cable and Wi-Fi. Linens and bath towels (not beach towels) are included with other basics such as a hair dryer, paper products and cleaning supplies, small kitchen appliances, salt, pepper, condiments and more… When in doubt, just ask.

Summary: Great location and proximity to the beach. Wonderful market with cute shops, wine and Raw bar nearby. As well as Mashpee Commons nearby for even more shopping and great restaurants. The house was wonderful along with the backyard which was small but private and a great place to hang out and play games. We had all the things that we needed to make our stay wonderful.
