Escape to this peaceful getaway high in the mountains. Only 200 feet to the lake, 20 minutes to Snow Valley Ski Resort and a short 25 minutes to Big Bear Lake. Maintains a classic cabin ambiance with the pinewood paneling and a stone fireplace. This warm and welcoming retreat has a high ceiling living room space with glass windows looking out to the woods, a cozy den, unique decorative details, and a fully equipped modern kitchen.
The space
The 2-story cabin features a high ceiling living room where you can get cozy in front of a roaring fire and enjoy the big screen tv. The downstairs has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully stocked kitchen with French doors opening out to the deck. The upstairs has an en-suite master bedroom and a den with a queen sofa bed where you can play games and watch nostalgic VHS all time favorite videos. The den looks out through glass high ceiling windows where you can enjoy the falling snow during the winter. You can explore the woods down the steps to the backyard or take your sled down during winter months. Also enjoy a 1 minute walk to charming Green Valley Lake.

Summary: I took my daughter and grandkids for a snow day. Cute cabin with plenty of room. It was a little tricky with the 14 month old, but I did not expect it to be baby proof anyway. Older kids loved it. It was very clean, except for what seemed to be old goods and spices in the kitchen cabinets. We will definitely stay here again.
