This 1970s Beach Shack is one of the original beach shacks built on the island, located on the Ventnor Foreshore.
The house draws you in with its old school charm and beach atmosphere. You and your guests will enjoy the open floor plan and huge balcony to relax on while taking in the ocean views and local wildlife.
The house is great for all guests, located only 5min drive to Cowes, The Nobbies, Penguin parade, Moto GP track and many other wonderful tourist attractions on the Island.
The space
This 1970s Beach Shack is one of the original beach shacks built on the island, located on the Ventnor Foreshore.
The Beach Shack is Set one allotment off the beach but with its own private walking easement to the foreshore, it is Almost beach front property. The view from the large balcony looking out over the ocean is one of the nicest you will ever see on your doorstep.
The home is original to the day, drawing you in with its old school charm and a light and bright beachy atmosphere.
You and your guests will enjoy the open floor plan with a large living area, kitchen fully stocked with utensils, dining area, 2 bedrooms, 1 large bathroom with tub and shower and a huge balcony to watch the sunsets over the ocean from. There is a skiffle board and junior wet suits for guest use found in the second bedroom closet.
This house is great for families or group of friends, located only 5 mins drive to main street in Cowes, The Nobbies, Penguin parade, Moto GP track and many other wonderful tourist attractions on the Island.
The options for being close to nature here are immense.
The back porch is an excellent place to hangout with your friends and family, while soaking up the sun.
You will have access to our BBQ so be sure to stop at the local butcher Paddock to Plate, right next door to The Shed cafe & store (a 1-2 minute drive away... why drive just walk!)
The BBQ and large outdoor fire pit, (from the original owner/builder), in the backyard are the perfect place to sit and relax after a nice long day of exploring Phillip Island.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house which is upstairs. You have use of all kitchen utensils and appliances including a coffee press, microwave, hot water kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, oven with stove top and refrigerator. Plates and cutlery are also provided.
A bench top dishwasher has recently been added to make your stay as hassle free as possible.
Linen, towels, shampoo, shower gel, tea towels, basic cooking spices, coffee & tea are provided for guests.
You will also find a host of board games, jigsaw puzzles & videos for your enjoyment.

We are a pet friendly home, but we kindly ask for you to keep pets OFF beds and furniture. If your pet causes any damages Or extra cleaning we do expect for you as the guests to pay for those. This would come out of the security deposit and includes damages to the property, items in and round the home, linens, etc.
Phillip Island has implemented a 3 "BIN" system for rubbish. The council is VERY strict on what goes in each bin and we have left documents on the fridge for guests to follow when disposing of rubbish. If you have any questions just give me a call or send a message.
If after your departure we find this system has not been followed and rubbish is not in correct bins, causing us to manually sort the garbage (PLEASE don't make us do that!!) OR causing us to receive a fine from the council for not having rubbish separated this will also come out of the security deposit.

We have plenty of spare dog leads for use if you forget yours! Ventnor beach is one of the only dog friendly & off-leash (not during peak times though) beaches on the island. So yo can bring along your four-legged friends and enjoy some sunset beach walks together.
Winter time can be a bit windy and wet on the island. We provide additional space heaters and blankets for guests.
