Pena Mar Ocean Club 3 Br 3 Bath Penthouse, Ocean and Marina Views- No damage | Condo in Fajardo

Our property is currently unavailable for rental. We are organizing exterior hurricane repairs (finally the issuance company settled with the Condo management) and making other improvements. Covid 19: Also, to be clear... we have no control over the amenities available and cannot be held responsible for amenities closed or unavailable due to the restrictions. Please read about the restrictions before coming to Puerto Rico. These change from time to time, but to be sure none of the public facilities will likely be unavailable, pools the gym etc. These are by Puerto Rico government order. We want to thank you for looking at our listing. Our condo is a two level Penthouse with the highest ocean and marina views in Pena Mar and large additional great room/entertainment room where the couch can be made into a separate bedroom with its own private bath. This upper entertainment room opens to a separate large private sundeck and patio which is furnished with an array of patio furniture, hammock and BBQ grill. This two level penthouse, adds another level of luxury and spaciousness (2,200+ square feet) over the 1 level units (1,500 square feet) in the complex. Only 17% of the properties in the Pena Mar are penthouse units. Make sure you are booking a penthouse unit... it makes a big difference! This penthouse has 1 king in the master with private bath and bidet. The second bedroom bas a queen bed and the 3rd bedroom is furnished with 1 queen bunk and 1 double bunk bed both which share a bathroom. The upper entertainment room has a queen couch bed with a 3rd private bath. This condo can comfortably accommodate 8 people (the condo rules limit). This penthouse is tastefully decorated with high end / but comfortable furnishings and art. Other amenities include high speed internet, 4 cable HD TVs all with HDMI hookups, 2 32", 1-42" TV in master, 1-55" TV in upper game/entertainment great room, air conditioning in all living spaces, dishwasher, in unit washer/dryer and much more. - we have two rolling coolers, beach chairs, towels, 3 boogie boards -- beach paddle ball racquets, beach balls, volleyball, Frisbee and other beach/sand toys. - There is a washer and dryer in the penthouse and we supply detergent, softener, dryer sheets. Pena Mar Ocean Club features its own emergency power generator and water cisterns which are useful in case of power/ water outage. We haven’t experienced a power or water outage because of this feature. Many other condo developments suffer water and power outage. The property has 3 Pools (One shaped like a boat, an Infinity Edge Pool with a Jacuzzi and one with a built in slide which the kids love. There is an onsite gym, basketball court and tennis court. There are many activities convenient to Fajardo. Fajardo It is close enough to San Juan for a day trip to Old San Juan, the old fort, the Muro, etc., and the El Yunque rain forest entrance is approximately 20 minutes away. However, there are many things to do in the Fajardo area in a week anyway. The Seven Seas Balneario (public beach with additional services) beach is a favorite beach in Puerto Rico, while not ranked/voted as high as Luquillo, this beach is a Puerto Rican favorite. Many well-to-do San Juan locals book vacation in Fajardo during Puerto Rican holidays, as Seven Seas beach will be the nicest least crowded beach during the holidays or peak seasons. Puerto Ricans know this; that is why they book here. The very famous Luquillo beach at the Luquillo Balneario (public beach with services) Monserrate is consistently ranked in the top 20 beaches in the world by Condaneste Traveler. You have to at least go one day there… it is really very nice and you get a real feel for local Puerto Rican daily life. Also, adjacent to Luquillo beach are the famous Luquillo Kiokos (Kiosks)where there are more than 20 small Puerto Rican restaurants, many that are highly ranked by Tripadvisor and Yelp. My advice for visiting the stalls is to start at one end and walk the whole length, check out each stall. Each stall really has its own character and specialties. Make a mental list of the best looking places/things, then walk back and stop and go back to the most interesting sit down restaurant or pick from the appetizer stalls. There is a horse race track half way between the airport and the Pena Mar called the Hipodromo Camarero . There are three race tracks in Puerto Rico; this is the closest. They have races almost every day, but you should check the web site for race times if you decide to go. It has a great in-door viewing area and restaurant. The Fajardo Ferry Terminal is about 3 miles away and a little difficult to get to so use the directions or if you can program your GPS for it. It is called the Fajardo Ferry Terminal, PR-195. You can take a ferry from the terminal to the islands of Culebra and Vieques. These island have spectacular beaches. Our favorite is Flamenco Beach in Culebra. You can also arrange the best bio bay tours in the world in Vieques. You have to stay overnight for the Vieques bio bay tour. You can also do a bio bay tour very close by in Fajardo. Our kids actually like the tour in Fajardo slightly better. Raymond Pratts is our property manager and serves as your own personal concierge and property manager while you're staying in our condo.
