Summary: While there were adequate bedrooms for our family of nine, they were cramped with no room to organize belongings. The space in the house was poorly laid out and maintenance wasn’t recent. Technically there were two bathrooms as listed but the various parts of the bathrooms were a bit separated with one toilet downstairs and the shower and sink upstairs sharing a common wall with the bigger bathroom. There didn’t seem to be consideration for guests with too much household items than needed taking up valuable space. It was challenging checking into the house as the owner/manager only gave an address with no info on how to find a key. It was challenging to get into WiFi, and had my IT proficient son not been with me, I never would have been able to connect. There were numerous bugs as there are horses, sheep and cows close by but there were no screens on windows to keep guests safe from potential mosquito-born infection. The exterior of the house was charming in a beautiful area of Sprimont. There was a charming koi pond on the property but my grandsons remembered reading there was a hot tub when there was none. We enjoyed being in a space where we could enjoy conversations with each other. We left a night early because the house was too uncomfortable for us to endure one more night.
