Bike/fishing tackle store. Parking. Mixed fishing on-site dawn to dusk (2 people per day included in price). No smoking. Please note: No children under 8 years, due to fishing lake in grounds.. This smartly furnished, detached, contemporary holiday home is peacefully situated in the village of Timberland, overlooking the lawns and fishing lake of Peacock Waters (silverfish and carp to 31lb). Excellent cycling territory, with the ’water railway’ riverside path 5 miles away leading to Woodhall Spa, Lincoln, Tattershall and Boston. Woodhall Spa (6 miles) offers the ’Kinema in the Woods’ - a unique cinema experience - the summer swimming lido, tennis and a championship golf course. Horncastle (10 miles) has varied vintage shops. Coningsby (9 miles) is home to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. The city of Lincoln with medieval cathedral, castle and smart shopping is 15 miles. Newark is 25 miles and the east coast beaches are approximately 35 miles. Pub just under 1 mile away.
