Family friendly house on the Oswegatchie River. The house is located on a side street in the city of Ogdensburg. Some of the other surrounding homes are in need of repair, however, once you step into our house you have found an unexpected hidden gem. You no longer know you’re in the small city. Our neighbors are middle aged to elderly folks whom we know by name. Lots of space for everyone to enjoy. Step out back to enjoy the sun. Enjoy a nice day of fishing or kayaking. Set in the screened in patio and just take in the views. At night you can set on the deck to visit or set around the fire pit. Step inside and have a drink at the bar. Cook up a meal in the full kitchen. Curl up on the couch on a chilly day and enjoy a movie in front of the fireplace.

Summary: The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet. I recommend Phillips diner, Buster's restaurant, and The Gran view.
