Welcome to Peace of Heaven, a beautiful mountain home! Designed with every comfort and need in mind, your cares are sure to melt away in this serene haven.
The main level of the home has an open concept great room with hardwood floors, warm buttery decorating tones, and soaring cathedral ceilings. Leather and suede furniture is arranged around a stone glassed-in gas log fireplace with a large HDTV mounted above it. A dining table with two long benches on either side sits on one end of the room, and a breakfast table for two is at the opposite side. A large, well-equipped kitchen is between the two dining areas, featuring the look of granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and 4 bar stools at the counter.
Off the great room is a hallway leading to the large laundry room, a half bath, and access to the garage. There is room for one vehicle in the garage, and on the other side of it is a 3-in-1 game table with options to play pool, air hockey, or ping pong; as well as a magnetic dart board.
The enormous master suite is behind the kitchen. The bedroom has views of the mountains, a King bed, electric fireplace, and a TV. The private bath has a tiled shower, separate soaking tub, and a large walk-in closet.
On the other side of the great room are two guest bedrooms. One has a Queen bed and TV and the other has two sets of Twin bunk beds with a TV. There is a full bath with shower between them.
Step outside to the rear of the home and soak away in the brand new hot tub with waterfall feature. Kids of all ages will enjoy running off extra energy in the huge nearly flat yard on all 4 sides of the home. Explore the small creek and pond at the base of the hill near the cabin. At dusk, enjoy roasting weenies and making s'mores in the firepit as you watch the sun sink behind the mountains.
Conveniently located off Highway 194 between Valle Crucis and Banner Elk, this delightful home is just 10 minutes to Banner Elk or to the original Mast General Store, 15 minutes to Ski Sugar and Beech Mountain skiing, and is just 20 minutes to Boone and Appalachian State University. Blowing Rock and Appalachian Ski Mountain are just a few minutes beyond as well. Come and experience the perfect Peace of Heaven today!
Additional Important Notes:
-Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a fire starter for $25/night.
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided.
- Check in is after 4pm and Checkout is by 10am
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes. Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings cancelled with a 30+ day notice will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings cancelled between 15-29 days will receive half of their deposit back. Bookings cancelled with 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless your dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
