A very nice and quiet place to rest, and a great base for getting to know the region. Only 1.7 km away from Paraty's historic center (20 minutes walk), the space comprises a total of 5 bedrooms with comfy beds, mosquito nets and powerful fans, and 5 bathrooms with solar hot water, 3 balconies with hammocks, tables and sofas, 2 equipped kitchens, a large and beautiful backyard with orchard and organic garden, and great WiFi. The houses accommodate up to 17 people.

The space was built thinking of ecological sustainability, a great place for rest and tranquility within nature, with the convenience of being 20 minutes walk from the Center, close to all kinds of commerce and still in a safe and upscale neighborhood of Paraty.
The houses are part of the project C. A.S. The Ecologica Paraty (Connection, Learning, Sustainability, and Art), with the mission to encourage living in balance with oneself and the environment. We offer environmentally friendly spaces with plenty of natural light and ventilation, recycling of gray and black water, and the use of environmentally friendly materials (bamboo and demolition wood). Soon we will have solar energy, rainwater capture, green roof, among other techniques. We also offer year-round courses in wellness, natural nutrition, and permaculture.
In my experience, care for nature is also emphasized, and guests are welcome to do the same by recycling their trash and using the compost and worm to recycle the remains of their food. On the ground, we have an organic production, and guests are invited to choose seasonal fruits or vegetables from the garden for consumption. On the first floor there is a kitchen, kitchen with table for six, and a room that can be used as a suite with two sofa beds (up to 4 people in single or double beds), and a complete bathroom, separated from the common areas with sliding doors. run. The pantry / living room is made up of a table for four, a desk, a sound system (to dock a cell phone or laptop), and an area separated by blackout curtains used either as a sofa or as a bedroom with double bed. On the second floor is a mezzanine suite with double bed, balcony, and desk. All sleeping spaces come with goose feather pillows, mosquito nets, and a powerful fan. The balconies come with hammocks, clothesline, benches, 8 to 10 seater table - a very pleasant space to spend an afternoon to the sound of birds.
In the backyard we have mango, coconut, mandarin, jabuticaba, pitanga, countess fruit, banana, acerola, lemon and avocado trees, besides the organic garden! The garden offers an outdoor shower and barbecue area as well as ample leisure space.
The owner lives at the back of the grounds, with her super-cute old Labrador and her cat. Sometimes there are also volunteers who come by experience to know the project and help in maintenance and garden.
