Summary: Our family enjoyed our stay in this charming chalet! Host was very responsive and great to work with. It was a snowy, chilly weekend and the wood burning stove was so cozy and warmed the cabin right up. Appreciative the owners provide firewood for the wood burner, otherwise the cabin would have been on the chilly side as it was hard to regulate the heat between downstairs and upstairs. Otherwise, it was perfect for our family of four with ample sleeping and seating. Clean, cozy and well equipped to just pack a bag and go north for the weekend. And, the high top table was great for family game nights! Be prepared if visiting during the winter and steady snow, you will be shoveling the walkways. The host did make sure the driveway stayed plowed. Again, very appreciative as we got a lot of snow during our stay. Location is great - a few minutes to Paul's Pub which had great perch, and an easy drive into Gaylord. Would definitely come back for a winter retreat!
