Summary: Three sisters aged 66+ stayed three nights in this home. We found it to be well stocked with anything we needed but did have some issues. The home was advertised as having a portable AC unit. It had a floor-type unit but it did not cool and even if it had, it was appropriate to maybe cool a small room, not a large living space. The outside temp was in the 90’s the day we arrived so the inside temp was equally high. We could not open windows as the tiny biting “no-see-ums” easily passed thru the screens. Fortunately, Courtney at Select Real Estate was fabulous. She contacted the owner, got permission to buy and install a larger portable AC unit so we had cooling in the main area after that the first night. Unfortunately the bedrooms remained very hot due to the inability to have the windows opened. I would recommend an upgrade to the mattresses in the twin bedroom since although fit for a child, an adult could not comfortably sleeping on them. Once we resigned ourselves to sleeping in the hot stuffy bedrooms we really did enjoy our stay but the lack of AC throughout the home will keep us from otherwise returning there.
